Students are the future of the country and when it comes to engineering students, Indian history has always seen them coming ahead and leading the different causes. It was the occasion of 40th year of establishment of Surat Raktdan Kendra and Research Center on 8th December 2016. To celebrate the occasion, Donate Life participated in a campaign to spread an awareness for  organ donation in the Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) campus.

During the campaign, approx 250 students were enlightened with the knowledge of organ donation by the team members of Donate Life. 22 students filled the forms to become the volunteers of the Donate Life whereas 2 students registered for cadaver organ donation after brain death. “Organ donation is the best donation and I will try to make maximum students aware about this activity. Blood donation while alive and organ donation after brain death must be our motto.” said student Denish Satasiya.
